What are you looking forward to doing as Miss Eastern Dakota 2012?

I look forward to getting out into my community and talking about my platform of sustainable living habits. I will speak with classrooms and organizations every chance I get to work towards my goal of educating the Grand Forks community on sustainability. I am also looking forward to working with my amazing sponsors who will help me prepare for the next stage of competition. I want to be a great ambassador for the Miss Grand Forks Organization and share with my community what this organization does for young women. I am so proud to be Miss Eastern Dakota 2012 and cannot wait to see what surprises are in store for me this year.

What inspires you?
I love watching people achieve their dreams. My dreams and goals are some of the most important things in my life and seeing others accomplish their dreams inspires me to keep working towards accomplishing mine. It is also inspirational to see the joy that people feel when their dreams come true. One day I hope to inspire others by accomplishing my personal dreams and goals.

Why should you become Miss North Dakota 2012?
Since I began my journey in the Miss America Organization I have thought a lot about who I want to be as an individual and what drives me to compete. My goal in life is to be a strong woman and leader within my community. I have so much that I'd to communicate with the people of North Dakota and I believe that this organization gives me the perfect opportunity to be heard. The goal of becoming Miss North Dakota inspires me every day and I plan on giving this dream all that I can so, come June, I can be proud of my accomplishments, know that I'm ready for the incredible honor of representing my state, and also know that I gave it my all when preparing for the job of being Miss North Dakota 2012.
