What are you looking forward to doing as Miss Grand Forks 2012?

This organization is full of opportunities! It has given me the opportunity to meet many amazing individuals, embrace a talent that means a lot to me, and share my platform of inspiring youth to reach their goals through literacy and leadership. I look forward to speaking at local schools, volunteering, and preparing for the Miss North Dakota pageant. I am so proud to be Miss Grand Forks 2012 and can't wait to see where this journey takes me.

What inspires you?
The people in my life inspire me. I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. They have inspired me to stay true to myself, dream big, and most of all live every day to the fullest.

Why should you become Miss North Dakota 2012?
I have dreamed of being a part of the Miss America Organization since I was a little girl. I watched the pageant each year with my mother, hoping that I would be on that stage someday. I truly love Grand Forks and this state and it would be an honor to represent a place that is so close to my heart. I know that becoming Miss North Dakota is an honor and a responsibility, but I also know that it takes someone who is ready to work each and every day to do the best job she can in representing her state; I'm ready for the job and also so excited for the chance to realize a lifelong dream.
